This past weekend Zane and I took our first trip south to see the family. He was a pretty popular guy! His Pops (my dad) has already got him a horse! I asked if it was a Shetland pony and my dad said, "No, it's a manly horse. A paint horse." Me: "Oh, what's it's name?" Pops: "Valentine." Real manly dad....Valentine? It made me laugh. I'm sure Zane will LOVE having his very own horse and I can't wait until he's big enough to really enjoy going to my parents house....riding the horse, checking the cows, riding on the tractor.....of course, Nana Beth (my mom) made sure he got lots of kisses!
This is Zane's great-grandmother, Mammaw Alice. She made us some yummy chicken gumbo on Saturday...my fave!

That is so funny your dad bought him a horse! My dad and brother did the same thing for Ana Bella! Maybe they can both go riding when they are big enough some where between Hampton and Camden!!
